The Booking Hall is Kent's most independent live music venue with a standing capacity of 280. The venue is situated in a former train station that served direct access to the port of Dover. The Building is over 165 years old and has a rich history including being an important hub during the 1st and 2nd world war.
The Booking Hall boasts great in-house professional sound and lighting with a fantastic tall stage, providing great views no matter where you are in the audience. The Booking Hall is a professional space designed with touring artists and the community in mind. Kent has an array of fantastic musicians and a strong music scene, we want to encourage the local talent as well as those who want to promote local and national talent.
Over the past 7 years we have brought some of the biggest names in the industry to Dover. As well as encourage and promote the local scene. Comedy, live music and community events are all welcome and have a place at The Booking Hall.
As we move into our 8th year, we want to be more independent and own our venue, to guarantee a performance space for the Southeast forever.

Location - The Booking Hall is located just off the A20/M20 and is right next to the busy Port of Dover/Marina. Dover town centre is a 15 minute walk away and The Channel Tunnel and Folkestone are only a 10 minute drive away.
Bus – Buses run frequently from all nearby areas (Folkestone, Canterbury, Deal, Lydd, Ashford, Hythe) and all of these buses stop at Dover bus Station/Pencester Gardens which is an 10 minute walk from the venue.

Train – Closest train station to The Booking Hall is Dover Priory (20 min walk) There is a high speed link to London from this station via Folkestone (55 mins – Folkestone to London St Pancras) Dover Priory links directly to Folkestone (10 mins) and Ashford (25 mins) and Deal (20 mins)

Parking – If you follow the road round on Elizabeth Street, you are likely to find a number of spaces on the flyover. There are also parking spaces at the nearby Cruise Terminal and De Bradelei Wharf. If you can find anywhere closer then please use the spaces you find but there an abundance of spaces at both. Please read signs where you choose to park - there are private spaces in the vicinity. Please do not obstruct neighbouring businesses. Normal parking rules apply - wardens do patrol the area.
Walking/Driving – Head for the port of Dover/Marina, the venue is located opposite the BP petrol station on Limekiln Roundabout.
Tickets - Tickets will be sold online, you will not be posted physical tickets. Please bring your confirmation to the venue, or have them on your smartphone. Lost E-tickets, as long as you have suitable ID, Passport/Driving License we can check on our systems at the venue.

Curfew - 11PM unless otherwise stated. We will be looking to have headline artists sets to finish by approx 10.30PM to ensure people have time to get to the railway station.
